WOODLANDS 1 - PART 1 (SYA CERTIFICATE) Shropshire Outdoor Survival

Saturday 19th June at Bicton Woods, Shrewsbury

This day event is run by Shropshire Youth Association.

On the day you will:
Learn to build a shelter
Learn to cook on an open fire
Learn to find woodland foods and taste them
Find water and purify it
Make your own string

This event is limited to 10 Youth Club members and will be on a first come first served basis. Youth Leader Lee Barnfield and Youth Worker Matt Whyton will also accompany the club members. Cost for the day and transport is just £7.50

Transport to Bicton Woods is provided by the Youthclub and will leave Weston Rhyn Institute at 8am on Saturday morning. The return to the Institute will be at 5.45pm

Members will be provided with an equipment list.
