Rhyn Rainbows were founded on 5th November 2001, they are a Carnival Dance Troupe for both boys and girls between the ages of 3 - 16 years. 

 

They are based in Weston Rhyn School, where training takes place on Wednesday evenings during the school term.  Rainbows can take a maximum of 54 children at any one time and operate a waiting list on a "first come, first served basis" for new members.  Fees are £1.00 per session and uniforms are provided (they remain the property of Rhyn Rainbows and must be returned upon leaving).  Rhyn Rainbows take part in local shows and Carnival throughout the year.

Weston Rhyn Wildlife Group was founded on 12th October 2004. 

 

They meet on the second Tuesday of the Month,  7.30 - 9.00pm in the up stairs meeting room in Weston Rhyn Institute.  The group welcomes junior as well as adult members.  The aim of the group is to study, survey and record local wildlife and habitat in Weston Rhyn Parish and the Ceiriog Valley.  There will be walks, talks and different projects/species to study.
